The 2024 IT Teaching Innovation Workshop will be held at the University of Texas at Austin on May 16-17, 2024. This workshop is sponsored by the INFORMS Information Systems Society.

Co-chairs: Anitesh Barua and Indranil Bardhan, McCombs School of Business

The workshop will include presentations on leading-edge innovations in teaching IT and AI courses for undergraduate and graduate-level (MBA and MS) Business-school programs and will involve faculty presentations and panels on curricular innovations, new cases and simulations, and insights based on new industry trends.

Hotel/Lodging

A room block for one night at the AT&T Conference Center & Hotel” on the UT Austin campus will be held until April 30, 2024 at a discounted price of $199/night plus taxes.

  • Attendees can choose to use the code “IROM Room Block” to reserve their room or call the hotel directly at 877-744-8822 and provide the code.
  • Attendees can also directly reserve their room for one or two nights at the discounted price.

Venue

This all-day workshop will be held on Friday, May 17 in classroom 202 at the AT&T Conference Center on the UT Austin campus from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Welcome Reception

We will host a welcome reception for all attendees at Hula Hut on the shores of Lake Austin between 6:30-9:30pm on Thursday, May 16. Please arrange your travel plans accordingly.
