Tuesday, September 17, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. 

Engage with undergraduate BBA students, enhance brand visibility, and identify promising candidates. Representatives from your company can interview up to eight BBA students for mock positions and provide valuable feedback. Half-day or full-day schedules are available.

Discover tomorrow’s leaders today! Engage with ambitious undergraduates, share insights, and identify the talent your organization needs to thrive in the future. This Career Week panel will feature a variety of employers who will share best practices for recruiting success. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions, clear misconceptions, and network.

Host current BBA students for an organized visit to share valuable insights on your company culture, resources, and day-to-day experiences. Due to limited availability, company visits will not be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. When selecting companies for this event, we will consider diversity across industries and job functions, McCombs recruiting history, and student interest. MPA Industry Night

Wednesday, September 4, 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

MPA Industry Night offers the opportunity to market your organization to MPA students through a series of information sessions. After the sessions, students can connect with all participating employers at a networking reception. It is the perfect venue to inform students about your organization’s career opportunities and network. The primary audience are third year MPA students seeking internships, but all MPA students are welcome to attend. This event is open to industry employers (i.e. consumer goods, energy, healthcare, technology).

MPA Coporate Mock Interviews

Tuesday, September 17, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

MPA Mock Interview Day allows you to build your company brand with students, identify great candidates early, and help students improve their interviewing skills by conducting mock interviews. All MPA students are welcome to attend, and the majority of students will be third-year integrated MPA’s. Half-day or full-day schedules are available.

Accounting and Finance Career Fair 

Tuesday, October 22, 12:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. 

Connect with McCombs Accounting and Finance talent in a career fair style event format. This will be a great opportunity to build your brand with accounting and finance talent and share both internship and immediate hire roles. This event is intended for public accounting firms, private industry, and federal, state, local and other regulatory agencies seeking accounting and finance talent. This event is targeted towards MPA students and will be open to MS Finance, BBA Accounting, and BBA Finance. To participate in this event, your company must plan to recruit MPA students for full-time or internship roles.

Master of Science Programs (MSBA, MSF, MSITM, MSM)

MS Industry Fridays  

August 9 l September 6 l September 13, 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (CT)

Virtual 

MS Industry Fridays are designed to introduce and educate students from MS Business Analytics, MS Finance, MS IT & Management, and MS Marketing programs to industries, roles, and functions related to their analytical degree programs. Employers will share information about their company and potential career paths to help students better understand the careers they want to pursue. If you have MS alumni in your company who could attend, this helps the students really connect! The format of these educational events will be informational sessions followed by Q&A time. MS students have a skillset that generally translates to the following types of roles:

  • MSBA – Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Consultant
  • MSF – Financial Analyst, IB Analyst, Business Valuation, Energy Investments Analyst
  • MSM – Marketing Analyst, Insights Associate, Account Manager, Digital Strategist
  • MSITM – Data/Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Technical Program Manager, Technical Consultant

*Full day not required; ideally, we’re asking for a two-hour sign up sometime during this timeframe 

Format: Virtual 

Meet MS Business Analytics, MS Finance, MS Information Technology & Management, and/or MS Marketing students and help them improve their interviewing skills! Participating volunteer interviewers will conduct 30-minute, one-on-one virtual interviews with students and give them feedback on their performance. Mastering Connections: Specialty Master’s Networking Event

Friday, September 27, 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. 

 

This networking event is designed to connect specialty master’s students from MS Business Analytics, MS Finance, MS IT & Management, and MS Marketing programs with employers, fostering meaningful connections, and career opportunities. This is a chance for students to showcase their skills and learn about potential full-time roles while also allowing recruiters to connect with a talented pool of candidates. If you have MS alums in your company who could attend, it’s always great for our students to connect with those who have paved the way before! Register here.

We know that changes can happen. To avoid a cancellation fee, please notify Career Management staff prior to one week before, unless otherwise specified to receive a full refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations within a week of an event. Sponsorship funds will not be refunded.
