What is the Elements of Business Certificate?
The new certificate was created with flexible course options to allow non-business students to customize a business credential that best complements their academic and career goals. The certificate requires a choice of 18 hours on a letter-grade basis, with a minimum of 9 completed in residence within one year after graduation. The certificate is different from the Business Foundations Minor which is based on 18 hours of core courses and gives an overall understanding of the key functions of business. The minor has to be completed when a student graduates.
