Year after year, Texas McCombs is the No.1 MBA program in Texas and in the Top 10 Working Professional MBA programs in the U.S. Why? Because our curriculum has been thoughtfully designed to transform you from a working professional into a sought-after business expert. We are honored to deliver the full Texas McCombs MBA experience to your doorstep in Houston – offering the same faculty and the same commitment to your lifelong success that you’d get in Austin. You’ll take courses on alternating weekends, focusing on core business foundations, in addition to tailoring your experience with two flexible electives and three general electives. And on Monday mornings, you’ll return to your office with fresh ideas and big plans.

Your MBA journey begins with a foundational first year focusing on essential business concepts through core courses in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Marketing, and other fundamental disciplines. At the end of your second semester in May, you’ll begin personalizing your education by taking a Global Studies course. In the second year, you’ll continue to tailor our program with four additional strategic electives: a Technology-focused course and three General Management electives.
