Sara Lundqvist teaches enterprise risk management for the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, within the Department of Information, Risk, and Operations Management. She is also a visiting scholar and researcher in the school’s Center for Risk Management and Insurance. 

Lundqvist is affiliated with the University of Gothenburg in Sweden and its Centre for Finance.

She has taught enterprise risk management (ERM) to executives at companies such as IKEA and SKF and was a senior lecturer on corporate finance at the Lund University School of Economics and Management in Sweden. She has also organized ERM networking and speaking events.

She has worked as an economics assistant and a buyer with Sony Ericsson and as a web designer and host with SoliSys. Lundqvist also writes a blog called “SiloNyx,” in which she advocates implementing more strategic, more integrated, and better governed ERM.

She holds a Ph.D. in business administration and a M.S. in finance from Lund University, where she was awarded the Wallander Research Fellowship. She also has a B.S. in managerial economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
