- The program involves a thorough selection process, all in an effort to identify the students who are qualified and committed to pursuing advanced marketing curriculum and leadership skill development. The process includes screening candidates through a resume, an interview and a series of essays.
- By focusing on student-selected themes, organization members are provided with the opportunity to study and practice unique topics that are not found in the traditional McCombs curriculum, resulting in students that are poised for future leadership positions within the marketing industry.
- Marketing Fellows Information Session + Networking will be held in RRH 5.210 at 5:30pm on September 5, 2024. Join us to hear about application requirements and networking with current Marketing Fellows.

- As a marketer and leader you will be tasked with understanding a variety of customer bases and expected to work with diverse teams whose views and interests may differ from your own. 3. One short answer with no more than 250 words:
- We are looking for candidates who are not only passionate about marketing, but who also want to be actively involved in improving the Fellows program. Please tell us about a time that you’ve shown leadership or taken initiative, either in a personal or professional setting. If selected, how would you contribute to or improve the Marketing Fellows organization?
4. One of the biggest pieces of recruiting is demonstrating your ability to market yourself. At the core of your experience as a Fellow lies an innate skill for visually engaging storytelling. Using a 4-slide presentation, we invite you to demonstrate this skill in one of the following ways. Be creative—the goal is to convey your experience without relying on lengthy paragraphs.
Create a 4-slide presentation based on either of the prompts below. Do not create two presentations. Upload your presentation in PDF format and title the file: LastName_FirstName_Presentation.
- Option A: Describe a meaningful project or business challenge you have encountered in prior work experience. Walk us through the challenge, your thought process, the actions you took, the outcomes, and any other aspects that hightlight your impact.
- Option B: Showcase one of your current passions or hobbies. Share what inspired you, your journey, the challenges you’ve faced, and your goals/aspirations.
It is strongly recommended to prepare all essays before opening the application. Once submitted, the application cannot be changed.
Statement on Non-Disclosure Agreements
The Marketing Fellows program is designed around real-time company projects. To enhance the quality of these projects and student access to information, many of our partners require Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) so they can provide students a complex and authentic marketing challenge facing the company. Partners may also ask students to relinquish rights to intellectual property developed in the classroom based on intellectual property of our partner company and related derivative works.
