Dell Supply Chain
A major driver of complexity is the wide range of small volume Configure-to-Order offers from Dell. To address this challenge, Dell is plans to leverage AI to create ‘resilient’ products with a strong supply chain backing without compromising Dell Business Health. Key stakeholders for this product are operations and sales executives and decision makers such as product line managers, supply chain managers, sales transformation managers.
The role will develop skills in dealing with ambiguity, analysis of large data sets/draw correlations, Power BI, Machine learning, statistical prowess, and deep understanding of supply chain, product operations and commercial go-to-market strategies.
Two candidates will be selected to work on this project together and will be assigned a former Dell executive as a coach to advise them on project direction, along with support from current Dell employees.
Deliverables
- Identify immediate areas of improvement to increase visibility and management of offers especially during annual product transitions
- Formulate and execute product designs and release plan to sustain improvements in value drivers
- Develop an AI solution with technologists with steps followed to enable all design elements
- Develop a holistic understanding of the organization through meetings in different cross-functional departments
- Present findings to stakeholders after each semester and at the end of the summer internship
Timeline and Time Commitment
The Labs program is a one-year opportunity:
- Spring Semester 2025 – on average 10-15 hours a week and counts as a 3 credit course
- Full-Time Internship Summer 2025
- Fall Semester 2025 – on average 10-15 hours a week and counts as a 3 credit course

Strong interest in analyzing and improving marketing campaign performance, channel mix, and will be eager to learn industry standards and best practices for optimizing value.
- Curiosity about B2B marketing for a technical buyer and audience.
- Familiarity with account-based marketing and digital marketing channels
- Willingness to learn Salesforce, Tableau, 6sense, and other demand gen tech stack tools
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the performance of paid media, social, display, content syndication, webinars and other marketing channels.
- Analyze attributed pipeline, efficiency and conversion of each marketing channel.
- Conduct in-depth analysis into ‘time-to-pipeline’ for various marketing channels
- Research industry standards for various critical metrics.
