Jeffrey Andrien

Jeffrey Andrien is a finance lecturer at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. He teaches courses on finance and valuation to undergraduate and graduate students.

Andrien is also senior managing director of the Austin office of Coherent Economics LLC. He has nearly 25 years of experience consulting on behalf of law firms, Fortune 500 companies, and government agencies. An expert on matters involving antitrust, intellectual property, securities, valuation, and commercial damages, Andrien has experience that includes the retail, high technology, medical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, energy, and banking industries.

He has also held senior positions in other consulting firms, including managing director of The Claro Group, president of Finance Scholars Group, and vice president of CRA International. Prior to consulting, Andrien worked in the investment banking industry. Other teaching experience includes classes in finance and marketing at Thammasat University in Thailand, Washington University in St. Louis, and Vanderbilt University.

Andrien earned a B.A. in economics at UT and an MBA in finance from Texas McCombs.
