Business Has No Borders
The Center for Global Business
We’re committed to building the global leaders of tomorrow. Our innovative programs are fueling academic and experiential learning, growing our community of global alumni, and expanding students’ access to experience abroad.
CGB Thought Leadership

On February 10, 2025, President Donald Trump issued an executive order directing the Department of Justice to pause enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).  In this panel discussion, our three experts explore the delicate balance between fostering U.S. business growth and addressing the ethical concerns raised by the shift in FCPA enforcement. They examine the potential impact of this order on the enforcement of anti-corruption laws, the possible consequences for U.S. companies’ competitiveness and liability, and how these regulatory changes might reshape business strategies in the future.

The International Business Major
The International Business Major, our flagship degree program, offers McCombs students critical knowledge and skills for leading in the global environment--now and in the future. IB majors gain hands-on experience in global dynamics and problem-solving through international coursework, real-world application, and studying or interning abroad.

The International Business Minors
CGB’s goal is to increase access to international business education for all UT students. We offer three minors in international business that complement any course of study by providing a global perspective on current issues in business. Students from diverse programs can tailor their coursework to their specific areas of interest.
